  • Dr Pedoto is a fellowship-trained, board certified thoracic anesthesiologist working at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She received her medical degree in Italy, at the University of Milan, retrained in anesthesia at Cornell, and did a thoracic anesthesia fellowship at Brigham and Women Hospital. In addition to her clinical work, she is a teacher and a researcher. Her primary research interest is in analgesia for minimally invasive thoracic procedures. She is currently the chair of the Thoracic Anesthesia Symposium for the Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists (SCA).
