- Young-Hoon Jeong (Changwon Gyeongsang National University Hospital, Korea) Young-Hoon Jeong is a director of cardiovascular center at Changwon Gyeongsang National University Hospital and a professor at Gyeongsang National University. Between 2010 and 2012 he worked as a visiting scholar at Sinai Center for Thrombosis Research in Baltimore, USA. Professor Jeong has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals with focus on antiplatelet treatment, thrombo-inflammatory syndrome and ethnic difference in hypercoagulability (“East Asian Paradox”). He is a vice president of Asian Society of Cardiology and a vice president of Platelet-Thrombosis Research Group under Korean Society of Interventional Cardiology.
